Vancouver, Canada’s 3rd largest city, is recognized as one of the world’s most livable cities – home to Stanley park and the Vancouver aquarium. The venue for LAK12 is the Westin bayshore which is located in beautiful Coal Harbour just minutes from downtown Vancouver at the edge of Stanley park.
With Whistler Blackcomb and the local mountains (Grouse, Cypress and Seymour) close by there are plenty of sports and recreation activities to engage in as well as the multitude of cultural and social events on offer within the Vancouver district and surrounds.

The conference dinner will be held at the Vancouver Aquarium, a self-supporting, non-profit association dedicated to effecting the conservation of aquatic life through display and interpretation, education, research, and direct action.
The conference dinner is family friendly, light on presentations, and focused on good company, food, frivolity and humour. Enjoy the Desire 2 Learn dolphin show (weather dependent) and the many amazing sights. The venue is a short walk through Stanley Park from the Westin Bayshore.
